I have done the Brain MRI recently and doctor asked to go for CT PNS My question is can BRAIN MRI be the alternative for CT PNS as the brain MRI also show the facial structures. Please advise.

Both modes are different. An MRI cannot visualise Bony structures and are better for assessing soft tissues as tumours etc. However, for assessment of para nasal sinuses, a CT PNS is the correct mode and the region being assessed is below the brain so the doctor requesting the CT scan of PNS region is justified.
