Creatinine 5
My mother have an urine infection problem and creatinine level reached to 6.62, but after treatment it comes to 5 from last 3 months. Blood sugar is under control. Medicine is going on. And under treatment of we'll known nephrologist. Hemoglobin reduced to 7.1. My mother daily intake 200ml double tonned milk and 50 gm chicken along with other foods. Is beans, peas are Dangerous food for health. Or can see drink chamomile tea or any other foods to reduce creatinine.

Hi I have gone through your posting Her problem looks like chronic kidney disease with deterioration of kidney function secondary to urinary tract infection, as the infection is controlled her kidney function is slightly improved and creatinine is reduced. So you have to take care of urinary tract infections. For anaemia you need to give her erythropoietin injections Try to take all precautions , for avoiding infections, unnecessary medication,give low protein diet so that kidney s are not overload

Kindly reduce her protein intake at present. Too much meat is not good for. Avoid fresh fruits as they contain potassium. Rest continue with a regular follow up with ur nephrologist

Raise in creatinine is due to worsening kidney function. She just have to avoid potassium rich diet to avoid hyperkalemia. Also have a regular check of creatinine and other renal parameters
