Hi
The renal disease progression and overall prognosis depends on type of kidney disease and other co morbidities. Your father could be have having hypertension related kidney disease or chronic interstitial nephritis..
regular follow up with nephrologist, healthy lifestyle and diet may have good prognosis.. and creatinine may remain stable for long.
Avoid pain killers and alternative medications
We need to keep following up the creatinine monthly..if it remains in this same level, life expectancy is good.
Pls do usg abdomen and urine routine if not done.
