CPK value is very high
My CPK value is 500.1. As my cholesterol was high, cardiologist asked me to take medicines for 3months. Now the cholesterol is still same. Additionally, CPK value is high. What should i do to lower this? Which doctor treats this?

Consult with a doctor
Online now
CPK isn’t that high to raise an alarm. For your cholesterol, if the medicine you’re taking isn’t working, then you should consult your cardiologist again for the same. Either the dose you’re taking is not enough or your dietary changes aren’t adequate. If you have any pre-existing underlying condition, mention about it.
Next Steps
Consult a cardiologist for modifying your medications
Health Tips
1) Avoid oily food/ ghee/ butter. 2) Replace your cooking oil with olive oil as it is heart friendly. 3) Take omega-3 fatty acid capsules and CoQ10 enzyme everyday. 4) Take oatmeal in breakfast everyday. 5) Do yoga, exercises, pranayama.
