For last 8 days i am suffering. First 3 to 4 days for fever that comes and go even after taking medicine. Then fever is gone but constant cough is present and very weak. Now I have no fever but i am not sleeping due to constant cough. Dr told me to do covid test. Rt pcr result is negative. But why cough is not going. Plz suggst me.

Sometimes the mutant strains of COVID will not be detected in RTPCR. You need to do a chest CT scan to be sure. Kindly consult accordingly

In this RTPCR test we take sample from throat there may be chance that viruses are not stayed in throat sometimes testing bud is wiped in clean area of throat thats why report is negative do rapid test once again.
And before that go for HRCT SCAN it will also say about infections.
