Covid vaccine
After how many days covid vaccine starts to work after having first dose of covishield vaccine. Till now 15 days passed post vaccination. I had a mild fever and body aches after vaccination. Can one dose of vaccine prevent me from severe complications? Will first dose works only after having second dose?.

See it's not like 1 does or 2 dose is enough to prevent you from sever complications. Vaccines are nothing but killed virus given to stimulate your body to produce antibodies when you actually get infected with live virus.
Now government is recommending to take boster dose to avoid severity of disease.
Amd it's not like everyone will have sever disease or no disease. It also depends on individual. If one is healthy severity of disease could also be minimal. If someone has unhealthy lifestyle or any risk factors he might get sever form of disease. So we can't just tell if 1,2 or boster dose is sufficient.
Better to follow all covid rules
Get vaccinated.
Follow healthy lifestyle.
Maintain social distancing and wear mask.
