Hello, My father has some symptoms related to Covid. He has mild symptoms cold and cough. He had his first dose of Covid vaccine 3weeks ago. Now if he takes the Covid test, will it come positive as he had first dose already? Please let us know.

Hi Cold and cough does not mean he has covid until high grade fever persisting , but it’s better to take medicines for cold and cough with supportive treatment. As he has taken covid vaccine 1st dose 3wks back only now doing test results will not come positive.

There is possibility, But as per GOI vaccinated people are less infected, if infected they are having less sever disease
