Covid positive from last 7 days
My father is covid positive from last 7 days and since then he is having continuous fever with max temperature of 100.4 he takes dolo 650mg and fever goes off but in next 5-6 hours again he gets fever of 100 something and this is going on from 7 days. No improvement in fever. He got ulcers all over the mouth and for that he is doing betadin gargles.  his oxygen is 96-98. Please please guide us please help us what we can do to reduce his ulcers and fever. His continuous fever is making him weak. Please help

Continous fever is not good in covid patient. Ur father needs proper evaluation and blood test.also only dolo wont be sufficient and also he might be suffering from more infectious disease along with covid

Mask up, hand washing regularly, maintain social distancing,avoid cold food items, regular betadine gargle 3times daily , lung exersise,yoga, monitor pulse temp and spo2 level every 2hrs, take steam and kadha 3times daily , stop all medication if any allergic reaction occur

Persisting fever is serious in covid 19 infection. Need to evaluate complications of covid 19 and also to rule out co- infection with other microbes. Better to consult online or offline whichever is feasible.
Next Steps
Consult General physician as soon as possible I am available for consultation till 10 pm today. Need to do some blood tests depending on detailed history.
