Covid Antibody test results interpretati
Hi, My mother was discharged from Covid treatment on 12/04/21 after 5 days. She also tested RT-PCR negative on 29/04/21. The doc advised antibody test then and also around 3 months post that. The results are as follows- 29/04/2021 Total Ab SARS-Cov2- 12.7 IgG Ab- 20.3 22/06/2021 Total Ab SARS-Cov2- 186 IgG Ab- 16.2 Please advise if the results are right and what do they mean.

Covid antibodies are meant to protect against the infection ... Plz don't be alarmed ... But this doesn't mean she can totally be relaxed that she won't get covid again ... Plz follow covid appropriate behavior stay safe

The high antibody titres indicate protection from the covid 19 virus.  There is nothing to be concerned regarding this.
