Covid test
The doctor referred me for a covid test yesterday for precautionary measures to a civil hospital. The thing for which I am worried that while taking nasal swab from my nose for covid test they hold my nose from the other hand whereas it is dangerous to touch nose nowadays. Three patients wear continuously tested So I request your views that whether it has to be taken seriously or is it normal testing procedure??

Hello, I understand your concern and good to know that you are keeping in mind hygeine measure. If the person who has taken your swab has changed his gloves or sanitizes his hand before and after taking your swab, you need not to worry. If the person has not changed it and he is touching all patients with the same hand without sanitizing or changing gloves, you should question the testing centre authority regarding same, as he is putting other people at risk by doing so.
