My last period was on 14th dec, but 2 days ago when I checked on preganews it showed negative. Should I wait a little longer and is it ok to have coffee when I'm trying to conceive?

you can have a cup of coffee... even when you are pregnant... we ask to cut off excess... one cup doesn't harm ....

Kindly repeat your pregnancy test if you still do not get your periods by 5 Feb and though medically there is no problem in having coffee in prenatal period...if it makes you any apprehensive do not drink coffee till the results
