Coughing for two months
My mother who is 54 years old has little cough for two months. she does not have difficulty in breathing or chest heaviness. Her cough is not frequent. She cough four to five times a day. Cough is usually dry and she says she feels irritants in throat. She needs to clear her throat in a a day several times. She does not have weight loss or loss of appetite or fatigue anything. She has no mucus with cough. Is it a sign of cancer? I am worried. She has not tried any medicine yet. Her cough is not worsening even. But it has not gone. Cough is very mild. Please guide. Is it sign of throat cancer or lung cancer? I have seen in google so I am worried..

Long duration cough should not be ignored even if it’s mild. It could be allergy or something else. A detailed evaluation will help

Appears to be Allergic in  nature. Pl avoid allergens. Pl do betadine throat gargling. However, minimum  investigations, to be done. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
