My son aged 6 months is having cough and phlegm. His cough increases after mid night. He has been given an inhaler and an anti biotic for the last 2 days but has not helped. I was wondering if we are following right approach or should we consult someone more specific.

Hello,, any medicines take at least 2 to 3 days to see any benefit. If your son is getting worse, his activity decrease, if not feeding, or develops fever, see the pediatrician at the earliest.
