Cough with phlegm
I had light cold 10 days ago. I had taken home remedy with ginger and others kashaya. Now cold is no there.. but cough with phlegm..is still there..phlegm is very thick and yellowish. Pls suggest what to do or medicine to stop phlegm creation and cough..

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  You need antibiotics and expectorant for it. For starters you can take tab. L-cin 500 once a day for three days after food. Syp. Ventryl 5ml thrice a day for 7 days. If it still persists, consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Hello....... It could be upper or lower respiratory tract infection.. Thick yellowish bulgum with cough suggestive of bacterial infection.. You need to take complete course of antibiotics... If that doesn't work investigations like blood test, chest x ray is required ..... Consult general physician.
