Cough since 1 week
My mother has cough since 1 week ,she has sore thorat 1 week back and it was realived and from then cough started , no other symptoms Motelukast and levocitrazine was given No relif from cough Is it good to start anti biotics as ahe dont have fever.

Sir your mother could have cough because of bronchitis following sore throat which she already had she can hydrate herself with drinking plenty of water not ice cold water can have steam inhalation. To lie down after 1 to 2 hours after food intake

T Azithral 500 mg once a day for 3 days T Deriphylin retard 150 mg twice a day T wysolone 5 mg three times a day Benadryl Dr syrup 10 ml three times a day omee d once a day otrivin nasal spray if she is not taking Medications for high Bp or heart disease one spray in each nose

Take Azithral tablets on empty stomach if you want Bronchitis is mostly viral and doesn't need  antibiotic if she she develops fever better to start her on antibiotic like Azithral Can do xray chest blood tests like Total count Differential count if cough continues
