You have just started antibiotic,  which takes 24 to even 72 hours to show good response. Continue same treatment.  Do gargles with hot water and few drops of listril  solution. Avoid cold foods and drinks. Take warm fluids to drink.

Given the lack of improvement, a few possibilities need to be considered such as post-viral bronchitis, allergic airway inflammation, or a secondary bacterial infection. Advice: Continue Claribid 500 twice daily – complete the 5-day course. Add: Tab. Montair LC (1 tablet at bedtime for 5 days) Steam inhalation 2–3 times daily Warm fluids and voice rest if there’s throat irritation or dry cough. If cough persists despite this, a chest X-ray and CRP/blood count may be needed to rule out lower respiratory tract infection.
