Cough from 2 weeks

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I've been having wet cough from 2 weeks. I had taken antibiotics and anti allergic for almost 8 days with no results. Now I'm only taking ayurvedic lozenges and home remedies. What can be the issue? Can it be something serious? I had a throat culture and the reports were normal and also CBC which showed an increase in TLC but that was due to fever in the starting.

Please get a chest X ray done to exclude any chest pathology. If it is OK then it may be due to LPR. PPI should be taken for the condition. But you should consult a ENT for proper management.
