I have had cough for more than 2 weeks. The throat is itchy and increases during the night. It started two weeks back with fever. The temperature is gone now but the throat issue still persisting.

You might be suffering from post viral cough which is a common type of dry cough syndrome after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. Treatment is usually symptomatic and spontaneously it will recover within few days. You may need to take dry cough syrup, steam inhalation, regular sips of water and strepsils like lozenges for few days till symptoms improve
