I am a bit irritated and tensed. I tried ns 1ml nebulization for 6 to 7 days, that also dint work. Because I have shown to 2 to 3 pediatrician and I am planning to take homeopathic treatment now. Please dr's give your suggestion. I am in need of one. Best regards, Tensed Father

Hi. Coughing at night or early morning or in the evening is indicative of allergy. You can as well go for homeopathic medicine but be aware that homeopathic medications have several side effects including but not limited to liver damage and kidney issues especially in young children. So I would suggest you to stop all medications. The cough is a protective and natural reflex and is not to be worried about. But since it’s affecting her sleep you must try home remedies like honey in warm water before bed or when she’s coughing. You can also try giving her zinc prophylaxis or montair lc syrup for 3 weeks after consulting with your local Pediatrician. Any other cough suppressing medications are not to be given for a two year old child as they have side effects and can easily be over dosed also.
