Cotton stuck in ear
I was using ear bud, And cotton stuck in the ear.. Going to the hospital to remove it..is it painful to remove the cotton from ear?

Never use cotton buds They are meant to be used for cleaning the pinna or part of external ear & never to be poked inside The external ear skin is in continuity with pinna, ear canal & the tympanic membrane. Tiny flakes of skin getting shed off are mistaken for wax in the ear which is not the wax actually. There is a vicious cycle of itch~skrach~itch is set Using ear buds is strictly No No Get the cotton stuck inside by a qualified Allopathic ENT surgeon to avoid damage to the delicate structures like tympanic membrane
