Majority of paediatric covid-19 patients had a positive contact history in the family. If you have a history of covid-19 contact in the family, the baby should be tested for covid-19 if any of the following symptoms - fever, cough, cold, diarrhea, vomiting. Testing is safe, no harm. In any case, if your baby has a difficulty in breathing, you need to see a pediatrician in person.
