Conventional or CT Angiography
My father who is 61 year old has been adviced Angiography by the physician. Which one should be better option - Conventional Angiography Or CT Angiography?

Conventional has 100% accuracy. CT ANGIOGRAPHY if shows some finding ultimately conventional has to be done. So better go for conventional at his age where we expect some finding.

Both angiography have got same cost and same radiation. First of all I would like you to say that you should avoid any such investigation in current scenario of Corona until unless very much needed. In case of high suspicion of disease it is better to go under conventional angiography so that rectification can be done in a single go.

Hello, I need to know why angiography was advised in the first place. In low to intermediate risk patients CT angio would be enough but in high risk patients conventional angiography needs to be done. I need further details for his risk assessment. Take care
