Contraceptive failure
I was having intercourse with my girlfriend , it was our first time , but condom ruptures but I'm not sure if semen had went inside or not , should she take Ipill or I should wait , she's having PCOS , her last period dates was 7th January to 13th January 2024 , she's very panicked what should I do

It is advisable to consume ipill or unwanted 72 pill as soon as possible as it's effective till 5days but no guarantee given the high failure rates. If there is any delay, do check urine pregnancy test on the expected date of periods.

Yes she can take I pill. But keeping in mind it's side effects like withdrawal bleeding, delayed periods and its failure rates of around 10%
