Hello sir, today in the morning when I was in my bed I tried to move my neck up and then down, while doing so I heard a sound of something cracking. I felt something broke in my neck at back and right side of it. After that i tried to get up but it became extremely painful when I had to take support from my neck to get up. Now, I have kept my face straight or towards left for most of my day because when I try to put my face to right it becomes very painful. I am feeling less but constant pain when my face is straight or towards left. But I cannot put it to right because at one particular angle when I move my face towards right the pain is severe. Will the pain go by itself? Should I consukt a doctor immediately? I also tried putting warm water on my neck while bathing. please help

U should consult to the Physiotherapist for this pain. It can be muscle strain or locking cervical region. It can be improved with muscle release and spinal manipulation.
