Are contact lens safe to wear? Also, I'm considering to get lasik done after a year. So, do contact lens damage the eyeball or something, even if we are wearing a good brand monthly disposable lens ?

Contact lenses have been around for decades and are perfectly safe if the advice of the prescribing person is followed with respect to hygiene , correct wearing and removing protocol etc. Whenever you want to have Lasik done, stop wearing the lenses for 15 days prior .
