Consultation for ankylosing spondylitis
It's been 2 year since i was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. I've got a lot of treatments and met with many doctors but none of them cured well. I've consumed many different medicine currently I'm taking painkillers to get relief in pain. Whenever i don't take medicine i experience unbearable pain. The life is hard with AS. Therefore i want to consult doctor for a proper treatment.

Hello , Living with Ankylosing Spondylitis is ofcourse not easy. Recently , there has been a medicine which has been prescribed by indian doctors and it is showing good results in patients with AS. This is not a new medicine but an old one with a discovery for its use in AS . There is a typical regimen for it and has to be taken life long but has been shown to improve quality of life if started early in life as shown in some studies.

There is no cure for ankylosing spondylitis. You need to continue good physical therapy and rehabilitation.  Medicines are only for unbearable pain in severe affection to spine or other joints surgery might me needed
