Constipation
My 6 monthz olc son has constipation since last Saturday. We went to doc on Wednesday who gave picosulfate syrup 2ml.but still no potty and doc increased the dose today to 3ml twice daily. Still no stools passed. Doc said if child is passing gas then no problem and continue same medicine.when will child pass stools. Pls help

Hi
Have you started any weaning food for the baby , generally because we start new food for the baby around this time they tend to get constipated it’s okay as your doc said if he is passing gas it should be fine , however children get very cranky during this time , so please use colic aid syp 1 ml thrice a day , you can introduce him to banana a little and also increase water intake for the baby
