Constipation
My 2 year old daughter is suffering from  constipation for around last 1 month.She poop after 2-3 days and for that too she try very hard.I gave her luvilok syrup 5ml daily after dinner for 15 days but still no improvement.Please help.

Constipation in children is common problem Proper toilet training is needed at this age to avoid constipation. Advise to give high fiber diet Avoid excess milk intake Deworm the child with syp albendazole 10ml at bedtime Stool softener such as syp pegalup is required for atleast 6 weeks.

Constipation is very common in this age group. Give lots of fibre rich food like dalia, suji , oats, vegey and fruits. Avoid refined food like maida. Give lots of fluids like water, soup, juices. Milk should be given twice a day only.
