Constipation for one month

Asked for Male, 73 Years

2yr child having constipation for one month duphalac is not working for her.. thyroid test is necessary for her? For what reason thyroid test should taken for the kid? Pls anyone tell me.. is she definitely need thyroid test? She is well active,but not eating properly.. once she pooped she will eat normal .. she always sleeps at 1 o clk and wake up at 9.30..

Low thyroid can cause constipation. So the test will tell us whether thyroid is low. Treatment of low thyroid will cure constipation also. But normal constipation is common at this age and can be treated with suppository. Please contact directly for further guidance.
