Constipation & gas
To fight constipation, I occasionally take Petsafa laxative granules. It results in high volume and more in frequency stool sometimes black with mucus. Please help if these stools are accumulated or Petsafa itself promotes diarrhoea like symptoms. Please suggest should I continue Petsafa.

Generally, stools are not accumulated. Yes, such laxative creates a situation like loose motion. This laxative can be used as a first line of treatment in acute constipation and mild to moderate constipation. If it is a Chronic constipation, then it can also be used for initial 5 to 7 days. But I would not recommend the long-term use.
