I am 18 years old and i have been having pain in my left shoulder for more than a month now. It gets worse at night when i am lying on my bed and i find it difficult to go to sleep. The pain radiates from the front part of the shoulder to a little below the elbow and intensifies when moved. I have not had any type of injury in my shoulder and cannot understand what exactly is causing this. How can i reduce the pain? And what could be causing it?

As per your complaint it may be because of problem in neck or muscular spasm. You can use hot fomentation on your neck 2-3times per day along with following the ergonomic advice( avoid too much use of phone, and avoid too many pilow if you use, see tv only in proper sitting posture). Neck isometric exercise also help you. It's better if you consult your near by qualified physiotherapist for proper assessment and follow up. Thanks
