Constant fever
From last 2 days I am suffering from constant fever above 100. I have done my CBC and Malarial parasite test but the reports were normal. There is a little headache also. Whenever I take paracetamol advised by a doctor, fever goes down but it becomes hign again after some time. What should I do?

Please get a total fever profile done. Your tests are not complete. The profile should also include Dengue Serology and blood and urine culture and Typhidot.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. malaria is not the only test you need. i would suggest you repeat the complete blood count and get a urine complete along with tidal and dengue serology also done. consult a general physician in person with the reports for further evaluation and management. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Repeat a CBC with a platelet count. Take a broad spectrum antibiotic like cefixime and take mefenamic acid 500 mg if fever does not subside with paracetamol
