Consistent retention of gas in upper abd
I have consistent gas in upper abdomen which after meals increases and causes acute chest pain since over a month. It does not decreases even after taking high doses of antacids.

Hi with your history , your are suffering from GERD. Follow some life style changes : stop tea coffee. Avoid spicy food. Don't eat cabbage / capsicum/ don't drink / eat citrus fruits. It's better to get a upper Gastroscopy done to rule out ulcers/ erosions/ presence of H.pylori infection. By then you can  take Sup. GAVISCON 10 ml  THREE TIMES A DAY AFTER MEAL FOR 10 DAYS. This along with your acid  blocker medicines.
