Confusion over medicines
Hi, I am IGA Nephropathy Stage 5, my creatinine levels have been fluctuating and recently have been going down from 8 to 6.5, since last 10 days I have been on low to zero salt, I have been taking Allopathic, ayurvedic and homeopathic all medicines yet my creatinine elevated to 7.07. I am confused as to what should I do, simply focus on allopathic or what. I have lost weight with complete diet control.

First of all , you should stop ayurvedic and homeopathic medications .there are high chances that you have aggravated your kidney disease by mixing all kind of drugs leading to a acute drug insult on top of your IgA nephropathy..2nd...creatinine of 6 or 8 doesnt make any difference,,if you have persistent high creatinine in these ranges ,it already means you have End stage renal disease..if the creatinine hasnt been this high persistently ,then there might be a chance that we are dealing with something acute/new and we might be able to reverse it..but it needs proper consultation and evaluation
Next Steps
patient needs proper evaluation and consultation. Detailed history regarding the disease. Kindly connect as everything else is beyond this chat system.
