Dear doctors,
I'm a male 36 years old recently diagnosed with IgA nephropathy with GFR of 84 and protein leakage almost negligible amount of 0.25 mg/mL. My proteinurea only increases when I get a trigger from a flu infection.
Can supplements like N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) and CoQ10 help along with good lifestyle and exercise?

Basically if you have a low amount of proteinuria the is a low risk for progression of disease
The controllable factors or the factors that decide the progression are smoking, htn, proteinuria and creatinine as all of your values are close to the normal range ur doing good .have a regular evaluation at 6 months
Next Steps
45 mins excercise
low salt diet
maintaining your optimum weight are far more useful than supplements
Health Tips
u can take the supplements but don't expect a great deal of benefit
