Confusion For Amikacin 500 inj 1/day.
Hi I am 26 male, have been prescribed Amikacin 500 Iv once a day. First day, I took in hospital and nursing staff was little shocked because small syringe was given by pharmacy and no other liquid for dilution.
2nd day I took from a nurse nearby who works at reputed hospital in city, also told this that she never gave without dilution but she gave me in direct vein. What should I do ? Should take with mixing other liquid ? She told my skin is sensitive also, as it gets too red just by holding tight for sec
