I want to confirm whether I should continue with the current dentist I'm seeing or should I seek another professional. I'm attaching a dental x-ray of mine.
Please share your observations regarding any issues you see in the x-ray. I want to know what can be discovered by it, about anyone's dental health.
Symptoms at present-
slight mobility in teeth where there's recession.
I don't see any symptoms that might suggest high blood sugar level. I've yet to get a blood test done.
I'd really appreciate some guidance and clarification at this point.
Thank you in advance

Hey hi,tooth mobility (shaking) and recession often indicate Periodontitis (gum disease) or bone loss around the teeth. While you don't have high sugar symptoms, diabetes can definitely worsen gum health, so getting that blood test done is a very smart move.
Next Steps
Please see a Periodontist for a 'flap surgery' or deep scaling to stabilize the teeth. In the meantime, use a soft toothbrush and avoid putting pressure on the mobile teeth

Second opinion is not a bad thing... Check with another practitioner about ur problem

Hi, from what we can see in the x-ray there definitely is loss of bone indicating periodontitis.
Mobility in teeth and gum recession is common in periodontitis due to the infection
I will suggest you to get your blood-work done to make sure about the status of your blood sugar. If there is diabetes, it explains why periodontitis has flared up.
Will suggest you to consult a periodontist who can definitely manage the case.
Scaling, cleaning (oral prophylaxis) will be done.
Next Steps
Blood tests to check for blood sugar
Oral prophylaxis
Consult periodontist
