Complicated pregnancy
Hi, till how many weeks we can opt for abortion through medicine? and from what date we should count our weeks of pregnancy? is it last day of mensuration or is it when i actually conceived? right now I had NT NB scan in which Nasal bone is ossified and acc to me I have already completed 12 weeks and I guess I have entered in 13th week . shud i terminate this pregnancy bt how .bcz in scared of painful abortions..i thought I could do with medicines. pls help

Till 8 weeks pregnancy can be terminated with medicine only. At 12 weeks baby is completely formed and you need surgical abortion

Ideally  before appearance of cardiac activity because after that there are chances that you bleed profusely so medical abortion should not be tried beyond 7 weeks As generally by 7 weeks the cardiac activity appears Weeks of pregnancy is calculated from lmp the day 1 that you started with your periods If you are married you cannot terminate pregnancy after 12 weeks If you are unmarried then termination after 12 weeks would be like a mini delivery too painful a procedure

Upto 9 weeks, medicines can be taken You are 13 weeks now, better to continue the pregnancy
