Hi.. My husband Had ACL Tear almost a month back.. Surgery is planned after 15 days. My question is can my husband drive (30kms) daily for 7-8 days.. And can he climb stairs up n down to 3 floor..

He can drive but climbing and coming down the stairs will be a challenge. For that he can use a knee brace with posterior support which doesn't allow the knee to bend. That brace will be required post operative as well.

Tell him to start with knee hamstring and quadriceps exert . After 2-3months on re assessment make a decision to go for the surgery.
