Colitis colonoscopy
I had done colonoscopy 2024 it shows chronic non specific colitis and infective ileo collits. Doctor gave cizaspa x ,sompraz for last 1 month .is it crohns or uc or ibs.plz reply.

It would be more appropriate to start on a gut specific antibiotic and do a follow up to see if the inflammation has reduced
The definitive treatment for the above mentioned complaints can only be ascertained after the initial basic treatment has been completed , following which we look into occurrence of recurrent attacks if any and the symptomatology at that time

Hi. Basis on this, it's not possible to exactly pin point the diagnosis. Need biopsy. Why did the colitis happen? Food habits? Life style? Is it procto colitis too, if yes then sexual history is also required. Kindly consult with me on 94 two six 86 seven eight 96 for proper guidance.
