Hello Ma’am, For a 4-month-old baby, it is not advisable to use any medicine or nasal drops on your own without a pediatrician’s guidance. In such small babies, usually simple measures like keeping the head slightly elevated while sleeping, using a bulb syringe for gentle suction of mucus, and using saline nasal drops (which are safe for infants) help in clearing the nose. A humidifier in the room or steam in the surroundings can also make breathing easier. If the baby’s breathing difficulty increases, feeding becomes poor, or fever develops, please consult a pediatrician immediately. I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can consult me, just go to my profile.

If Nosbre drops is actually just normal saline (sodium chloride 0.65%) → then yes, it is safe for a 4-month-old baby Usage: Put 1–2 drops in each nostril as needed (before feeds or sleep helps the most). You can repeat several times a day, since saline is not a medicine, just sterile salt water. After a few minutes, you can gently suction the nose with a bulb syringe if mucus is thick.
Next Steps
Kindly consult with physician too
