Blocked nose severe cold and cough
Hello , my son is 4 yrs old having sever cold , his nose is always blocked he is unable sleep and breathing with mouth, can we use nebulization directly with budesal 0.5 without mixing the medicine with saline water.
Or can can I mix with distilled water
Plz suggest

May be he is having enlarged Adenoides and Tonsils. Try plain saline nasal drops. Get an ENT check and follow advice.

Please kindly avoid budesal for toddlers below 6 years as it can lower immunity and other issues.
Kindly give him normal steam inhalation
And use tylenol nasal drops or any other saline drops 2drops each nostrils 3 times.
Incase of fever or rash use syrup zyrtec 2.5ml twice daily.

Nebulization for blocked noses is not necessary and not advisable too!!
You should use a saline nasal drop or other nasal decongestants
