My mom got cold a week ago. She is still having body pains and fatigue. She is not able to function properly. She is coughing a lot. She got medicines from general doctor. Is she having long covid symptoms or some chronic fatigue syndrome from cold. Am I worrying a lot?

Please share her detailed medical history,  meds taken so far Get complete blood count, blood sugar, thyroid profile, done and share results. For cough, give her tab cefixime 200mg one morning and one evening for 5days. Tab paracetamol 500mg one every 8hours for 4 to 5 days. Syp Chericof, 5m.l. every 8hours for 5days. Cap Supradyn one morning and one evening for  4 weeks. Let her take more of fresh green vegetables,  fruits, nuts, whole grains. Gargles with hot water and few drops of listril mouth wash,  2 to 3 times daily.

Dry cough :- Grilinctus syp Wet cough:- ascoril ls Take diclo 50mg twice a day , if her age less than 65yrs...if above 65 take paracetamol! Twice a day!.. No need to worry this is not long COVID symptom!....this is due to  climate change , I think so....ask her to .drink warm water!.. Hope she get better soon!..

T azee500 one per day after food for five days.  Montek lc one at night after dinner. Ambrodil s syr 5ml twice n 10ml after food for five days.  Zerodol sp three times a day after food for 3to5 days.   Covid Possible.  Treatment remains almost same. Limcee500 two times to suck.

Is any sputum production.. Tell about the colour of sputum Check complete blood picture and esr T meftal 500 mg bd 3 days( any allergy.. Avoid it) T mucinac 600 mg bd, dissolve in water 3 days T montek lc 0-0-1 5 days T azee 500 mg od 3 days T pantop 40 mg od 3 days Syr ambroxol 5 ml tid

After a viral infection ,pain in joints and fatigue indicating towards post viral arhralgia But if patient had cough then she need a chest xray to rule out any parenchymal pathology
