Hi my daughter is 1 year old and she has caught cold. The nose is running continuosly and she is getting irritate as she is restless. What can I do

Hello. You can give her antihistamine, Nasoclear. Keep her hydrated. Be watchful for danger signs ( breathing difficulty , fast breathing , Not feeding well). If any danger sings immediately contact to your pediatrician.

Greetings. Common cold is very common complaint.  To avoid , keep ventillations, activity to play and talk to some one.  General resistence is to be boosted. Lots of fluids , fruit , good nutrition, and positive healthy emotional environments are essential. Inspite of cold take your child in park to play. and get sun bath.it builds immunity. Nutrition: Add egg, sweet lime juice. Soft rice and dal or greens is good. Eat together on dinning table or floor. Together word is beautiful. Practice it and carry activity together. Play soft music . All problems will be solved. It prevents behavior problems. Don'tt forget immunization. Keep mosquito away to prevent malaria and dengue. Hygiene is always to be cared. Hand wash frquently. Before and after taking care of child. PANDEMIC is still on. Stay athome safe and use all precautions.

Antihistaminic,nasal drops  can be used. Probably a viral fever Consult a pediatrician for further care
