Clonil SR 75 and Serta 100
Neurologist suggest clonil sr 75 and serta 100 to my father. Is it safe to take together , he is having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and anxiety. Now he is feeling drowsy all the time.

OCD is not a neurological disorder, rather a psychiatric disorder and needs to be treated by a psychiatrist. Though neurologists have some knowledge about the medications they are not trained as well as psychiatrists in treatment of this disorder. I would suggest you consult an astute psychiatrist either online or in person and seek proper protocol based treatment for ocd. Wishing your dad a speedy improvement. Good luck

First dose of sertraline should be increased to 200 mg, if no response then you should start second drug like clonil. But it would be better to consult a psychiatrist rather than neurologist for OCD

Please go to a psychiatrist for OCD - these meds are to be prescribed in proper doses and slow increase as required
