For the last three-Four days, my wife has been suffering from Jaw pain right below her ear. Everytime she opens her mouth she hears a clicking sound and has an unbearable pain. We took a panoramic X-ray of her jaw which I have attached with this. The local dentist who checked this has referred me to a TMJ specialist who is not available for a month. Please suggest what can be done in this case?

There are 2 options for causes here. It's either from the wisdom tooth, which is most probably impacted inside the jaw, on the lower right side, or it's from a joint issue.
Next Steps
You can ask your wife to try supporting her jaw with her hand when she opens her mouth too widely, such as yawning. Take a soft diet, avoid excessive mouth opening. Please visit my clinic or any clinic, if you need further help.
