Clarity regarding tetanus shot
I have a doubt regarding tetanus shot. When to get tetanus shot? Some say - one tetanus shot is enough for 5 years.
Some say - one tetanus shot every 6 months
Some say - get tetanus shot every time you get injury no matter when you last got shot. Tetanus shot for every injury.
Some say - tetanus shot when injury includes dust, rust
So which one is right???

Hello! I understand your confusion. It happens because there is lot of conflicting information around. But as per scientific evidence, booster shot every 5 years is enough. If you are injured and have a large open wound, you can take a dose. No need to worry!

TT is required on case of injury.. if you are not sure of the last time you got an TT,then it is necessary to get it.. but if you are sure it is within the past 5 years ,then a TT shot is not necessary
