Ciprofloxacin is not the first line drug for these infections It is a 3rd generation cephalosporin and is used for other infections For respiratory tract infection we use other antibiotics such as Amoxyclav 625,Azithromycin 500 etc

Ciprofloxacin is not a first line antibiotic for tonsillitis and respiratory tract infections.Morever it's taken twice daily,not 3 times.

You can better take Tab Amoxyclav 625 twice daily for 5 days. It works better. Also you can do Chlorhexidine gargle thrice daily

Do consult. Needs to be evaluated. Amoxiclav is better antibiotic to be initiated. If you don't have allergy to it.
