Cholesterol levels
Hello I am 33 year old and my cholesterol levels are as follows. Total cholesterol 246mg/dl with HDL cholesterol at 40mg/dl, LDL cholesterol at 179mg/dl and triglycerides at 186mg/dl, VLDL cholesterol at 37.2mg/dl and non-hdl cholesterol at 206.5mg/dl. Please suggest should I start medication to control cholesterol.

First approach is to diet properly with a dietitian counseling and proper exercise. Recheck after 3 months especially 10 hours fasting. Take a clinical consultation and review general condition and related issues to assess the need for any other relevant intervention.
