Cholesterol level
I'm suffering from High cholesterol problem. Since I was 26. I am fit and slim and walk alot..also vegetarian. But when I had checked my cholesterol six months back.. My Total cholesterol was 290. I started taking boilded food, but when I again checked my cholesterol, a week before my total C was 258 LDL-208 HDL 47. I stared taking atrovastin 5 MG. Though I don't want to take any medicine, but some body adviced me so I have taken.. I sometimes feel pain in my heart area.. please suggest? Should I continue with the medicine..

Hello, Your cholesterol is very high and you need medicines in addition to lifestyle modifications. Atorvastatin 5 mg is not sufficient for you. Its better you consult online directly for further evaluation and management Take care
